成人事务组

• 23-bed unit designed to serve adults ages 18 and older
• Diagnoses may include: schizophrenia, 痴呆, 阿尔茨海默氏症, schizoaffective disorder, manic bipolar disorder and psychosis
• General psychiatric unit
• 病人 may display symptoms of delusions, paranoia, hallucinations and confusion
• 病人 may have a decreased ability to function and interact with others

• 13-bed unit designed for higher functioning adults ages 18 and older
• Diagnoses may include: bipolar disorder, personality disorders, depression and anxiety disorders
• 病人 are able to actively participate in their own care
• 病人 may also be at an elevated risk for suicidal behavior or self-harm
• Therapeutic group programs are offered that target coping skills, motivations and preventive planning

• 20-bed unit designed for dual diagnosis, medical detox and general psychiatric overflow adults age 18 and older
• Alcoholics Anonymous (AA) and Narcotics Anonymous (NA) comes into the unit weekly to conduct group meetings
• Dual diagnosis patients may have a mental health diagnosis and a substance abuse/alcoholism diagnosis
• Groups on this unit vary from basic group therapy to substance abuse specific therapy
• 病人 who may be admitted for substance abuse issues, medical detox or be general psychiatric patients

• 10-bed unit designed to meet needs of adults ages 18 and older
• Diagnoses may include: schizophrenia, 痴呆, 阿尔茨海默氏症, schizoaffective disorder, manic bipolar disorder and psychosis
• General psychiatric unit
• Groups on this unit are designed to increase socialization and memory
• 病人 may have a decreased ability to function and interact with others
• 病人 may display symptoms of delusions, paranoia, hallucinations and confusion

• 15-bed unit designed to meet the needs of adults age 18 and older
• Diagnoses may include: schizophrenia, 痴呆, 阿尔茨海默氏症, schizoaffective disorder, manic bipolar disorder and psychosis
• General psychiatric unit
• Groups on this unit are designed to increase socialization and memory
• 病人 may display symptoms of delusions, paranoia, hallucinations and confusion
• 病人 may have a decreased ability to function and interact with others

Referrals and Admissions

All admissions and inquiries must go through our intake department. An intake nurse will obtain all the necessary information and then contact the physician on call. The intake nurse will advise the caller of all instructions for admission or provide resources if admission is not necessary.

To be admitted to South Campus:

• Medical clearance is needed from a psychiatrist.  Find A Doctor Online 或打电话 828.315.3391.
   - If medical clearance has not been determined, patients may present to the Emergency Room or ask for help from an outpatient healthcare provider.
• 病人 must be medically stable.

If patients with an acute crisis do not meet admission requirements, they may be discharged with outpatient services.

Inquiries for admission may be made by family, guardians, therapists, case managers or physicians. Someone is available at Frye Regional's South Campus to take calls regarding admission or treatment information.
